Revolutionary Breakthrough – Ski-Cart

With the astonishing and frightening increases in the oil price, Lance O'Conner from Red7 Australia has come up with a brilliant idea: the paddle powered Ski-cart...  Matt Carter sent us these photos.

No, seriously (seriously?), the event is the Annual Bangalow Billycart Derby - this year held on 18th May in Bangalow, NSW - the same day as we were cooking in the Kaiwi Channel...

Lance had a big day - ending up 2nd in the Grand Finale.  His Ski-cart was a big hit with the locals - especially as the only way of stopping it was to drive it into the straw-bale barrier!
